The compression-resistant fleece lower third is streamlined to tuck easily under waders or bibs. Cold weather and stiff winds demanded powerful upper-body insulation that could be layered into a system from beneath waders and bibs without bulk. Our approach was to stop the wind dead with WINDSTOPPER by Gore-Tex Labs while maximizing heat retention and mobility using Prima Loft Gold Insulation with Cross Core technology in the torso and sleeves. This cutting-edge insulator delivers a high weight-to-warmth ratio with the aesthetics and performance of down, while offering warm-when-wet functionality. Compression-resistant fleece was used in the lower torso to tuck easily inside waders or bibs. This heater of a combination of a 100% windproof fabric and down-like insulation was our solution to keeping you warm and moving freely while offering a wealth of layering options.
